Today we had the unexpected opportunity to take a look inside the former church st. agnes down the road that’s turning into a huge art gallery within the next month. Not what you call a beauty from the outside, surprisingly aesthetic from the inside.

RIP Adam “MCA” Yauch

One of the members of my very first, most intense and all time music love just left us. First time we met was in summer ’91. I was 12 and my older brother lent me his “Paul’s Boutique” tape while we were traveling Ticino and Northern Italy. It was a canary yellow tape and I couldn’t help but having it running without any break on my Walkman for the rest of the vacations. It was love from first sight. This album plus the 2 following “Check Your Head” and “Ill Communication” have been the heart of the soundtrack of my youth. I was fortuned enough to see them live on stage twice in my life. And that won’t happen again. Never ever. Unbelievably sad to realize. Can’t describe what the Beastie Boys mean to me.

Rest in Peace Adam Yauch.
