upstruct anniversary

October 31st, 2008

3years

3 years, man, it just makes me proud like a peacock and happy like Eddie Murphy (in the 80s!)!
In a tiny flat in Berlin, 3 years ago, Toni and me were joining forces, trying to figure out what upstruct was and what it could be, trying to figure out who we were and what we could do. Toni just finished his diploma, I just quit making pancakes in Enddorn, today we have two offices in two cities, 4 more, fine gentlemen by our side and a whole lot of cool projects behind us!

Howdy!

October 6th, 2008

From the dark corners of the secret upstruct laboratories, beneath the surface of Oslo’s now bland autum colors, lurks a new experiment. It’s slightly disturbed creators have given it the daunting name of «Howdy!». The radical experiment will allow you, the users, to leave comments and remarks on upstruct’s website. OOOhhhhh! And then, other users can read them when they visit. Scary!Try Howdy! from the frontpage by clicking on the Howdy-button in the bottom right corner.

Downhill mania

October 3rd, 2008

downhill

A couple of days ago, we saw nothing but the white of Grim Reaper’s eyes, as we passed him in a hell-of-a-speed down the Hafjell Alpine Center, on bikes. Yes, bikes. We haven’t had so much fun since Bob Saget did the Aristocrats… A highly recommended way of making every part of your body hurt for days, if that’s what turns you on! It surely made us all jizzy, just a shame it was the end of the season. Anyway, now we now what to do next summer!

Song for an autumn night

October 2nd, 2008

dasalibiderabwesenheit

Good news for all you poetry lovers out there: the latest collection of poems by Sabine Imhof, closely connected to the upstruct family, has just been released. The book is called “Das Alibi der Abwesenheit”, published at yedermann, Munich. And yes, it’s in German. We warmly recommend this literary treasure, 124 pages filled with strong pictures of loss, happiness and love in a language similar to that of an uncompromising childhood dream. The perfect companion for foggy autumn nights, it’s also nice to look at. Treat yourself to something good and get this jewel here or there. Want some more? Get her previous book “Sonntags“ here.
